Isabella's artistic practise revolves around the mystical, mythological, imagined, and forgotten.
Growing up in a secluded bush property, she was cradled by the gum trees since she was a child.
Isabella went on to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, then travelled to Japan where she spent numerous years practising Tea Ceremony, Koto, and Flower Arranging.
From this experience, the themes of cultural storytelling, metaphysical landscapes, and the home, have become a source of inspiration for Isabella's work.
